To become a famous book or a famous actor in the USA the only thing might has to happen is that people have to know it and speak about it.
There are a lot of books which have become popular among people. They are so popular because they captured the attention of the reader and even they might are books with fun or book with an important idea which makes people think about the human life. It cannot be explained why a book has become a famous book. It just happens, people from a reason start to like it more and more. A book can be after all famous from his author. It can also become famous that a film is made out of it. A writer never knows when he or she finishes the book that this book will be famous. They have only hope that kind of book will be a success. Famous authors nowadays are: J. K. Rowling, Tom Clancy, Stephen King, J.R.R. Tolkien and a lot of other ones. Some of them were so lucky that a film was made out from his or her book. Even the book and the film also become popular among USA citizens. There were also people who do not like them and said stupid things about them. They said that only the big name in the book is nothing worthless. It is not worth reading it. Yes, maybe for them it was not a good book. They have not found the voice which is speaking to them during the book. It is not a big deal but there is no reason why should they speak about so bad and write horrible comments about them. For those who liked it was a pleasure reading it. Some of them might have read at least two times and even they have seen the film if it was made any. They found something in it which has captured his or her attention and this thing lead them to the fact that they like that book or that writer. Reading is always very good and a good time spending method.
Of course if you have very little free time it might happen that you will not read too much but at least you have to try it. It is worth reading because your point of view can be larger and you can form your own ideas taking examples from this ones.
